On behalf of everyone at Holy Family Catholic Primary School I would like to welcome you to our website. This website is a window into what we do and what we are about. After browsing through, you will hopefully have gained an insight into life at Holy Family.
If you are viewing our website as a prospective parent, pupil or staff member, please know that Holy Family is a school that prides itself on its warm welcome. We have a great deal to offer but recognise that every child, family and member of staff helps us to grow, develop and continue to flourish.
Our school only opened in 2012 and we are immensely proud of all that has been achieved since then: ‘Outstanding’ OfSTED Inspection (2014 and 2024); two ‘Outstanding’ Section 48 Inspections (2016 and 2023) and school data that consistently places the school significantly above national and local authority averages. We are a very popular school within the local area and beyond, with waiting lists for all our classes.
We are highly successful because there is a commitment from the whole school community to living out our Mission Statement – ‘Achieving personal excellence for ourselves and the glory of God.’ This Mission Statement underpins all that we do at Holy Family.
We recognise that every child entrusted into our care is a divine creation, made in the image of God. Pupils at Holy Family know that they are loved and valued. As a result, we are able to have the very highest expectations for our pupils (and staff). Our pupils are happy and feel safe in our school environment and so we are able to expect the best from them. By marrying together an environment based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and our high expectations, our children can truly flourish and achieve personal excellence.
It is a privilege to lead a Catholic school and I am very fortunate to work alongside exceptional staff and dedicated governors. We serve a highly supportive parent body who work collaboratively with the school to ensure the best outcomes for our children.
