PTJM SaraswatI Vidya Mandir is a model school of the North Eastern Zone of Vidya Bharti Akhil Bharti Shiksha Sansthan, New Delhi. It is located at Hasanpur, Rajgir. It is situated beside NH 82, Some 3.5 km north from Rajgir Railway Station along the Rajgir - Biharsharif Road. Shri Sundar Singh Bhandari, Governor of Bihar, laid the foundation stone on 03 November 1998. The school started on 22 April 1999. It aims to reestablish the ancient glory of Nalanda University, the most ancient seat of education of the world. It has got blissful patronage of many great saints, scholars, thinkers and philosophers who in themselves are very rare personlaties as well as a great divine asset for the institution. Innovative experiments in the field of education are made here. The academic team that is working here is fully research oriented and dedicated to render world class education. Modernity in its truest sense has been the special feature of this school. The school aims to ensure all round development of the pupils and make them global citizens in general and national characters in particular. We aim at making them useful, productive and responsible persons of the society. The school right from the very beginning has been a big centre of social activities too.
