New Samastipur Public School runs under Harish Chandra Prasad Thakur Social and Educational Trust. This school is the fruit of that dream tree planted by Late Harish Chandra Prasad Thakur, a life-time teacher and a social reformer for whom teaching was passion not the profession.

He used to say that "What to talk about unemployment, education is in itself the medicine of all sorts of problems."

However he left his heavenly abode but sent the envoy like Md. Shakir Ahmed who served honorary till his last breath. He used to say "All love them who love the education."
