From Class IV to XII, assessments align with CBSE guidelines. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is emphasized, incorporating written work, verbal assessments, projects, and co-curricular activities.
For Classes IV to VIII, there are two terms with four formal assessments each. Class IX has four terms with assessments at the end of each term and for Class X’s final evaluation includes both school assessments and the CBSE Board Examination.
Class XI and XII assessments are divided into four terms each, with a focus on theoretical proficiency and practical knowledge. and for Class XII’s final evaluation is solely based on the CBSE Board Examination.

The admission process for all classes for the academic session 2024-25 at DPS Patna is now closed. However, inquiries regarding admissions can still be sent to admissions@dpspatna.com. If vacancies become available, emails will be responded to accordingly.
Information regarding admissions for the academic session 2025-26 will be posted on the official website in September 2024.
For Class XI:
The Phase-1 admissions process for Class XI for the academic session 2024-25 at DPS Patna has ended. Phase-2 admissions will commence after the Board Results. More details regarding admissions will be available by May 20, 2024.
