Admission to D.El.Ed. Course (Full Time), 2 Years
Duration
The D.El.Ed. programme spans two academic years, with a maximum completion period of three years from the date of admission.
Eligibility
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their higher secondary (+2) or equivalent examination. Reservations and mark relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories follow the rules of the Central Government or Bihar Government, whichever is applicable.
How to Apply
Option 1: Online Mode
- Download the online Admission Form from the provided page.
- Fill in all necessary details in the form.
- Save the form using the save button, CLT+S, or the Save Option under the File Menu.
- Email the saved form along with all required documents to contact@mpce.in.
- Send a printout of the form and relevant documents via post, courier, or hand delivery to the college address before the last date.
- Regularly check the official website for the test and interview dates. The college is not liable for missed dates.
Option 2: Offline Mode (Preferred)
- Obtain the Admission Form from the Administrative Office.
- Submit the completed application form and required documents to the same office.
- Test and interview dates will be informed via the website or other communication methods.
- Applications received after the closing date or incomplete applications will be rejected without prior notice.
Enclosures with the College Admission Form
- Attested photocopy of all Xth & XIIth mark sheets.
- Attested photocopy of S.L.C./ C.L.C./ D.L.C.
- Attested photocopy of Migration certificate & Character certificate of Graduation.
- Attested photocopy of certificates for other activities or accomplishments, if any.
- The candidate must sign all attested certificates.
Requirements at the Time of Admission
- Original mark sheets, documents, and certificates for verification/submission.
- Five recent passport-size colour photographs.
- Two Anti-Ragging Affidavits (download link available in the Download Section).
Fee Structure
- The course fee for the D.El.Ed. programme is Rs. 1,20,000.
- Payment must be made via Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of “M P College of Education” payable at Madhepura.
Notes
- Admission is provisional and may be cancelled for discrepancies in the submitted form/documents or non-compliance with college rules.
- Admission may also be cancelled for unsatisfactory academic progress or misconduct.
- Failure to submit required documents and fees at the time of admission will result in forfeiting the admission claim, and the seat will be allotted to another candidate from the waiting list.
- Special facilities may be available for poor and deserving trainees.
- The college reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning a reason.
- Preference is given to minority candidates over non-minority candidates in the admission process.
- All admitted students must sign a code of conduct form provided by the office; violation may result in expulsion.
- Disputes with the College/Management will be subject to the jurisdiction of the District Court at Darbhanga/Madhepura only.
Admission to B.Ed. Course (Full Time), 2 Years
Duration
The B.Ed. programme lasts two academic years, with a maximum completion period of three years from the date of admission.
Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- At least 50% marks in either the Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity.
- A Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or equivalent qualifications.
How to Apply
- Apply for admission to the B.Ed. course via the Nalanda Open University (NOU) website: NOU Website.
- Appear for the B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET) (Regular Mode) conducted by NOU.
