Responsibilities:

Student Guidance and Counseling: As an Educational Counsellor, your primary responsibility will be to guide students and their parents in choosing the right academic pathways, including IIT-JEE, NEET, CUET, and foundation courses. You will provide personalized counseling to help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and assist them in making informed decisions about their education and career goals.
Admissions Assistance: You will play a key role in the admissions process by helping prospective students and their families understand the benefits of enrolling in Margshree Classes. This includes explaining course structures, fees, and the overall learning environment. You will also assist with the completion of admission forms and the submission of necessary documents.
Career Advice: Provide career advice and guidance to students on the various professional courses and career paths available after completing their studies. Help them set realistic career goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
Conducting Orientation Programs: Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new students to familiarize them with the curriculum, faculty, and campus facilities. These sessions will also provide information on the support services available to students, including tutoring and mentoring.
Collaboration with Faculty: Work closely with faculty members to stay updated on curriculum changes, student performance, and any new academic offerings. This will ensure that you can provide accurate and up-to-date information to students and parents.
Communication and Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with students and parents through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Follow up with prospective students who have expressed interest in the courses to provide them with additional information and encourage them to enroll.
Data Management: Keep accurate records of all counseling sessions, inquiries, and follow-up activities. This data will be used to analyze trends and improve the counseling process.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
Proven experience as an educational counsellor or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the educational landscape, including competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NEET, and CUET.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant software tools for data management and communication.
