Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to join our academic leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the academic and administrative demands of running a top-tier business school. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of the institution, ensuring that our educational offerings remain relevant, rigorous, and aligned with the needs of both students and the business community.
The Principal will be responsible for overseeing all academic and operational aspects of the institution, including curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, student affairs, and community engagement. The candidate should possess a strong background in management education, with a proven track record of teaching management subjects at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the academic vision and strategy for the institution, ensuring alignment with the overall mission of Aditya Global Business School.
- Lead the design and development of innovative and relevant curricula that meet the needs of today’s business world.
- Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained, fostering a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage faculty to engage in cutting-edge research and professional development activities.
- Faculty Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse and highly qualified faculty team.
- Provide leadership and support to faculty in their teaching, research, and professional activities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where faculty members are encouraged to innovate and share best practices.
- Oversee faculty performance evaluations and ensure continuous professional development opportunities are available.
- Student Affairs:
- Ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment for students, where they are encouraged to excel academically and personally.
- Oversee the development and delivery of student services, including academic advising, career counseling, and extracurricular activities.
- Promote student engagement in community service, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities.
- Address student concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the institution, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
- Develop and manage the institution’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of the institution’s operations.
- Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, industry partners, government agencies, and other educational institutions.
- Represent the institution at conferences, seminars, and other professional forums, enhancing its reputation and visibility in the academic and business communities.
- Engage with local, national, and international communities to promote the institution’s mission and vision.
- Foster partnerships that support the institution’s strategic goals and provide opportunities for students and faculty.
Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Management or a related field from a recognized university; a Ph.D. in Management or related disciplines is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in academic administration, preferably in a B-School environment.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in management subjects, with a strong academic record.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving academic and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to think strategically, with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing management education today.
