Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Development:
   • Create, review, and finalize content for middle and secondary school-level Science.
   • Develop experiential learning activities and pedagogies.
2. Teaching:
   • Teach Science using inquiry-based methods to inspire and enhance student competence.
3. Teacher Empowerment:
   • Engage in long-term programs to help teachers adopt experiential learning pedagogy.
   • Mentor in-service teachers through classroom observations and discussions.
4. Education Research:
   • Participate in education research projects, including data collection and analysis from classrooms and other school activities.
5. Participation in Organizational Activities:
   • Engage in discussions and activities to support the transformation of schools, teachers, and students.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
  • Degree in Science, Education, with a B.Ed or equivalent teacher training degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or allied subjects.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching Science (preferably Chemistry, Physics, or Biology) at middle, high school, or beyond.
• Skills:
  • Familiarity with pedagogy and content development.
  • Good interpersonal and observation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Kannada.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
