Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development:
- Create, review, and finalize content for middle and secondary school-level Science.
- Develop experiential learning activities and pedagogies.
- Teaching:
- Teach Science using inquiry-based methods to inspire and enhance student competence.
- Teacher Empowerment:
- Engage in long-term programs to help teachers adopt experiential learning pedagogy.
- Mentor in-service teachers through classroom observations and discussions.
- Education Research:
- Participate in education research projects, including data collection and analysis from classrooms and other school activities.
- Participation in Organizational Activities:
- Engage in discussions and activities to support the transformation of schools, teachers, and students.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Degree in Science, Education, with a B.Ed or equivalent teacher training degree preferred.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or allied subjects.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years teaching Science (preferably Chemistry, Physics, or Biology) at middle, high school, or beyond.
- Skills:
- Familiarity with pedagogy and content development.
- Good interpersonal and observation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Kannada.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
