Open Positions:

1. Montessori Teachers
We are looking for Montessori teachers who are not only qualified but also passionate about early childhood education. As a Montessori teacher at Amrita International Vidyalayam, you will play a key role in guiding young learners through their formative years, fostering a love for learning, and helping them develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the holistic development of children through the Montessori method.
• Create an engaging, interactive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
• Observe and assess each child’s progress and tailor activities to their individual needs.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes independence, discipline, and self-motivation among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being and development of students.

Requirements:

• Certification: Candidates must have a valid International Montessori Teacher Training (IMTT) certification.
• Experience: While fresh graduates are welcome, previous experience in a Montessori school is an added advantage.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are mandatory. Candidates must also be patient, empathetic, and skilled in creating a positive learning environment for young children.
• Work Environment: The role requires on-site work at our school campus. Candidates must be prepared to commit to the demands of working in a Montessori classroom.

2. Administrative Officer
We are also seeking an Administrative Officer to manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the school. This position is integral to ensuring that the school runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing our educators and students to focus on the teaching and learning process without distractions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the school’s administrative functions, including admissions, record-keeping, and staff coordination.
• Manage communications between the school and parents, ensuring clear, timely, and effective interaction.
• Support the Principal and school leadership team in implementing school policies and procedures.
• Handle basic financial tasks such as fee collection and budget monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in organizing school events, workshops, and other extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Additional qualifications in school administration or office management are desirable.
• Experience: Candidates should have prior experience working in an administrative role, preferably in an educational institution.
• Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential for this role. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Candidates must also be proficient in using basic computer applications such as MS Office.
• Work Environment: This role requires full-time, on-site work at the school campus. The Administrative Officer will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
