Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on the Montessori curriculum to stimulate children’s curiosity and learning.
- Create a nurturing and safe environment conducive to children’s growth and development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate classroom activities and events.
- Continuously assess and evaluate children’s progress to inform instructional practices and individualize learning experiences.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Certification or training in Montessori education preferred, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and patient.
