🔔 Position Available:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Studies Teacher (TGT) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching and has a deep understanding of the social sciences, including history, geography, civics, and economics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the minds of young learners and contribute to their understanding of the world around them.

Role Overview:

As a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Social Studies, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in middle school. Your role will involve creating lesson plans that align with the curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to help students improve. You will also be expected to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and motivated to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that cover the key areas of social studies, including history, geography, civics, and economics. Ensure that lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to the needs of the students.
Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure that all students are actively participating in the lessons.
Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s progress. Provide updates on student performance, upcoming assessments, and any concerns that may arise.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching methods and curriculum changes. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject, with a focus on social studies. A B.Ed. degree is mandatory for this position.
Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching social studies at the middle school level is preferred. Candidates with experience in CBSE-affiliated schools will be given preference.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to fostering a love of learning in their students.
Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
