OPEN POSITIONS:
1. Pre-Primary Teachers (NTT)
For the youngest learners in our school, we are seeking highly motivated and patient individuals for the position of Pre-Primary (Nursery Teacher Training, NTT) Teachers. This is a crucial phase in children’s education where they form the foundation of their academic journey. The Pre-Primary section at Downtown Gurukul emphasizes play-based learning, with a focus on developing cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the learning needs of Pre-Primary students.
- Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
- Incorporate various interactive and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the progress and development of their children.
Qualifications Required:
- Certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or Early Childhood Education.
- Excellent command over the English language.
- Passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
- Freshers with an NTT qualification and a passion for teaching are welcome to apply.
2. TGT – Mathematics
We are looking for a highly qualified and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Mathematics. The role of the Mathematics teacher is essential in helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be able to break down complex mathematical concepts and make them accessible and enjoyable for students at the middle school level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons that are in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Engage students in practical applications of Mathematics to foster real-world problem-solving skills.
- Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop a positive rapport with students to create a conducive learning environment.
- Participate in extracurricular activities related to Mathematics, such as competitions, clubs, and workshops.
Qualifications Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A B.Ed. degree (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Excellent command over the English language.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at the TGT level is preferred, though freshers with relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.

- Proficiency in English: At Downtown Gurukul, fluency in English is non-negotiable. All academic roles require excellent command of both written and spoken English. Candidates who are unable to demonstrate proficiency will not be considered for an interview.
