Job Description: Teaching and Administrative Positions at R.K. International Academy

1. TGT – Hindi and Sanskrit Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans for Hindi and Sanskrit subjects to students in middle and high school.
- Prepare and implement curriculum-based assessments to track and improve students’ academic performance.
- Use varied teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and keep students motivated and focused.
- Foster an environment where students feel safe to express themselves, ensuring classroom discipline and encouraging active participation.
- Collaborate with other staff members to organize extracurricular activities, events, and competitions related to Hindi and Sanskrit.
- Attend school meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Sanskrit, or a related field.
- B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching certification.
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized institution will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the Hindi and Sanskrit languages.
- Ability to motivate students and manage a classroom effectively.
2. PRT – All Subjects
Responsibilities:
- Teach all subjects to primary school students (classes 1st-5th), with an emphasis on building a strong academic foundation.
- Develop lesson plans that cover the curriculum while promoting creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and other academic tasks.
- Encourage positive social interaction among students and provide guidance on behavioral expectations.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment where young students feel safe, valued, and eager to learn.
- Work closely with parents to address student needs and support their learning journey.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
- B.Ed. degree or certification in teaching primary school students.
- Patience and passion for working with young children.
- Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to differentiate instruction based on individual learning needs.
- Previous teaching experience in a primary school is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Pre-Primary Teachers (Nursery, L.K.G, U.K.G)
Responsibilities:
- Teach and engage children in Nursery, L.K.G, and U.K.G (early childhood education) in a fun, interactive, and supportive way.
- Design age-appropriate learning activities to support cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Ensure that the classroom is organized and equipped with educational materials and play-based learning tools.
- Create a welcoming, positive, and safe classroom environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to explore new concepts.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide individualized support to each child, fostering holistic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student development and provide regular feedback to parents on their child’s progress.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with pre-primary children in a formal education setting.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and understanding of children’s needs at a young age.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with young learners and their parents.
4. Computer Teacher (Classes 1st-8th)
Responsibilities:
- Teach computer literacy and basic computing skills to students from classes 1st to 8th.
- Develop and execute lesson plans that cover both theoretical and practical aspects of computer education, including the use of different software, typing skills, and internet safety.
- Promote coding and digital literacy among young students, introducing them to basic programming languages and logic.
- Ensure that the computer lab is well-maintained and that students follow safety guidelines while using equipment.
- Monitor student progress and assist those who may need additional help with their learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Teaching certification or prior experience teaching computer science in a school setting.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs and coding.
- Ability to make lessons engaging and accessible for young students.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a willingness to stay updated with new technologies.
5. LDC (Lower Division Clerk)
Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical duties, including record keeping, managing school documents, and handling administrative tasks related to student admissions, attendance, and correspondence.
- Support the teaching and administrative staff in organizing school events, meetings, and other functions.
- Ensure that office operations run smoothly, maintaining proper filing systems and keeping accurate data.
- Provide information to parents, visitors, and staff as required, acting as the first point of contact in the school office.
- Assist in maintaining school facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of 12th pass, with proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office.
- Experience in clerical or administrative roles, preferably in an educational institution.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
