Poornaprajna Education Centre, a prestigious institution promoted and managed by the Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for various teaching positions in its different educational sections. We have vacancies in the High School Section, Primary Section, and Pre-Primary Section. The required qualifications and experience for each position are mentioned below.

HIGH SCHOOL SECTION:

Principal
Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications:
- M.A / M.Sc. with M.Ed.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an administrative role in a recognized educational institution.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team of educators and work in collaboration with students, parents, and the community.
- In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and educational practices.
- Computer proficiency is a must for managing administrative duties and communication.
English Teacher
Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications:
- B.A / M.A. with B.Ed.
- A strong command of the English language and a passion for teaching.
- Previous experience teaching English at the high school level is preferred.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching aids and technology in the classroom.
- Computer literacy is required.

PRIMARY SECTION:

English & Social Science Teacher
Number of Posts: 2
Qualifications:
- B.A / M.A. with B.Ed.
- A deep understanding of English and Social Science subjects.
- Experience in teaching these subjects at the primary school level will be an advantage.
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and teach effectively using a variety of instructional methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer knowledge is essential.
Mathematics and Physics Teacher
Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. with B.Ed.
- In-depth knowledge of Mathematics and Physics for the primary section.
- Experience in teaching these subjects in primary school is preferred.
- The ability to make learning fun and interactive through innovative teaching methods.
- Strong communication skills and classroom management abilities.
- Must be computer proficient.
Assistant Teacher
Number of Posts: 2
Qualifications:
- Any Graduate
- Passion for teaching and willingness to assist in the smooth functioning of the classroom.
- Ability to work in close coordination with lead teachers and help in various academic and non-academic tasks.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and patience in dealing with young learners.
- Basic computer skills are essential.

PRE-PRIMARY SECTION:

Teacher
Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications:
- Any Graduate with NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or Montessori Certification.
- A nurturing and caring attitude towards young children.
- Prior experience in teaching at the pre-primary level is preferred.
- Ability to create an engaging and stimulating environment for young learners.
- Proficiency in using educational technology for teaching purposes.
- Basic computer knowledge is a must.
Assistant Teacher
Number of Posts: 1
Qualifications:
- Any Graduate
- Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting the lead teacher in the classroom.
- A kind, patient, and supportive nature to work with young children.
- Ability to assist in the preparation of teaching materials and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Basic computer skills are required.

General Requirements for All Positions:

Computer Knowledge: All candidates must possess basic computer literacy. Knowledge of MS Office, email communication, and the use of digital teaching tools is essential.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Work Ethic and Attitude: Candidates should demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude. A collaborative and team-oriented mindset is important, as teachers will be required to work closely with each other and school management.
Experience: Previous teaching experience in a similar role is preferred, though fresh graduates with the required qualifications may also apply.
Age Limit: Applicants should be in good health and have the energy and enthusiasm required to meet the demands of a teaching profession.
