The Flipped Classroom: A Twist On Teaching

Salary:

For IIT & JEE Stream (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology):

· PGT (Grade 9 to Grade 12): Up to Rs. 60,000 per month

· TGT (Grade 6 to Grade 8): Up to Rs. 40,000 per month

For AP State Board Syllabus (All Subjects, Languages and Quantitative Aptitude):

· TGT (Grade 9 & Grade 10): Up to Rs. 40,000 per month

· TGT (Grade 6 to Grade 8): Up to Rs. 30,000 per month

Qualifications and Experience Required:

For PGT:

· A Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in a relevant subject with B.Ed is required.

· 6 years of experience in teaching IIT & NEET Stream material is required.

· Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dealing with AP Intermediate Board syllabus or Grades 11 and 12 of CBSE will be given the highest priority.

For TGT:

· A Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) or Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in a relevant subject with B.Ed is required.

· 4 years of experience in teaching IIT & NEET Stream material is required for candidates who aspire to teach IIT & NEET Stream Grades (6th to 10th).

· 4 years of experience in dealing with AP State Board Syllabus is required for candidates who aspire to teach AP State Board Grades (6th to 10th).

Roles, Responsibilities, and Duties:

• Prepare students for competitive exams like IIT-JEE Mains, IIT-JEE Advanced, and NEET UG.
• Train students to complete competitive exams efficiently.
• Ensure timely completion of the syllabus to facilitate excellent results in Bi-Weekly objective-based IIT & NEET minor tests.
• Teach multiple shortcuts for solving objective-type questions in competitive examinations.
• Help students master time management during exams.
• Employ current best practices in educational pedagogy and utilize innovative approaches to teaching.
• Maintain strong communication skills for effective interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Present lessons comprehensively using visual/audio aids to enhance learning.
• Use laboratories effectively to promote practical learning.
• Plan and conduct activities that promote comprehensive learning and holistic development.
• Regularly assess and record students’ progress, providing timely feedback to parents and guardians.
• Set clear expectations for student behaviour and academic achievements.
• Use a variety of teaching aids and methodologies to present engaging lessons.
• Produce and distribute learning materials like notes and assignments.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Support and implement school-wide educational events and activities.
• Monitor students to ensure their safety and well-being, and report any concerns as necessary.
• Continuously improve professional skills through participation in educational seminars and conferences.
• Manage the safe arrival and departure of students and maintain a positive team spirit among staff and students.
• Handle lesson planning, evaluation, and reporting responsibilities effectively.

Additional Skills Required:

• Additional skills in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and familiarity with Smart Tablets and Smart TVs will be advantageous.
