Rajeev Gandhi Memorial Teachers Training College, located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, is a prestigious institution dedicated to fostering high standards of teacher education. Available Positions
- Principal
The Principal will be responsible for the overall administration and academic leadership of the college.
Eligibility Criteria:- A Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant area of specialization.
- M.Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks.
- A Ph.D. degree in Education or a discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
- At least ten years of professional experience in teacher education, with a proven track record in academic leadership and administration.
- Professor in M.Ed. (02 Posts)
The Professors will play a crucial role in curriculum development, research, and mentoring students.
Eligibility Criteria:- A Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant area of specialization.
- M.Ed. or M.A. in Education with a minimum of 55% marks.
- A Ph.D. in Education or a related discipline.
- Additional qualifications as prescribed by UGC or State Government norms.
- Assistant Professor in M.Ed. (05 Posts)
The Assistant Professors will engage in teaching, research, and community service.
Eligibility Criteria:- A Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant area of specialization.
- M.Ed. or M.A. in Education with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Other qualifications as prescribed by UGC or State Government norms.
- Assistant Professor (B.Ed.)
This role involves teaching and supervising B.Ed. students.
Eligibility Criteria:- A Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the relevant area of specialization.
- Other qualifications as prescribed by UGC or State Government norms.

- Fine Arts (MFA with minimum 55% marks)

Salary and Benefits
The salary for all positions will be in accordance with the norms set by the NCTE and the State Government. Candidates are advised that no traveling or daily allowance (T.A./D.A.) will be provided for attending interviews or related activities.
